Put it on android and you can have a dollar
Because this animation made me laugh.
But I do not feel guilty for not going out and buying an iphone to buy your game.

don't sweat it chief, thanks for the hypothetical dollar, it's appreciated.
Good
The script was funny and the animation was solid. My only minor gripe was the voice acting. Not that it was bad, far from it, but it lacked a certain passion which would have made the jokes funnier.
Perhaps it just needed to be better projected, but I felt that every characters emotions should have been amplified. At the very least, the reactions should have felt like they were actually there, instead of sounding as if their lines were premeditated.
As I say, this is a minor issue, and the only reason I point it out is that more commited voice acting would have risen the animation from good to great.
Looking forward to more from you.
Yeah, you're probably right. It's harder to get specific character personalities into such a tightly packed space of so much going on. I'll definitely be working to improve on that in the future.
The pacing was off
It needed something to make the whole thing feel more fluid; and more like a collaboration instead of a bunch of vaguely related clips. Collaborating on a project doesn't mean getting hold of loads of 2 second clips and sticking them together, it means working with other people to create something that you couldn't have done alone. This was just a way of only having to spend an hour on the animation and being able to submit it. The sad thing is, there were some genuinely well animated segments in that, that the animator could have spent time on alone, fleshing it out into something impressive. But instead, their work will be overlooked as part of yet another, hastily assembled, "collab".
Still, as bad as I've made that sound, the whole thing would've probably worked if you'd had one song playing all the way through all the clips; maybe at half the volume of the sfx.
Thanks for making a review that was long enough to actually say something useful.
The good thing about this is that I can basically learn from these mistakes and now I can work on the SuperVillain Collab, correcting them.
Suggestion for your next one...
I've played guitar for quite a while, I'm pretty good, but while I can work out a few songs by ear, usually I need to play things through tab. If you could show how a tabbed out song looks when written out in music, it'd really help.
Learning the basics of reading music from this was a big help though, cheers.
Yes, I am already working on Transcribing sheet music to tablature, so you will be able to use that!
Glad it helped you learn the basics, that makes it worthwhile!
"Who's uncle Warren, Terry!?"
Hahahahahaha!!! Also, "morbidly obese" :D
I love the sense of humour in these. Looking forward to seeing the finale, any idea when Aniboom's gona release it?
thanks!
probably in 4 or 5 days time, they're not too sure yet (its done though)
A couple of things...
Firstly, if you get a negative review, don't be a dick about it. Ignore it or come up with a witty response, but random swearing and insults toward whoever told you "dis was wel shit lol" will get you no respect.
Second, it's clear how hard you tried and how much effort you put into this, but it would have been good if you had focused that energy on something more original. This is extremely similar to Granfaloon's "The Real Legend of Zelda" series, and if you're going to do something that's already been done, you have to be able to do it better (and you're just not there it, in terms of writing or in animation).
Finally, I want to urge you to keep trying, because you do have potential as an animator, but, at the same time, I really think you should consider abandoning this series, and starting something fresh. Something that's totally yours, and that, as you continue to make episode after episode of it, you can see your own work improving.
Good luck.
obviously you dont see it the way i do, those zero's are from the same person, second i was pissed at that time, im not trying to sound like a dick, but i worked hard and he just keeps making more accounts and giving me 0, as for the rest of your review you are most definatly right, dont worry i will improve :)
The speed that the fight went, and the story went
didn't bother me.
But in the fight, you seemed to sacrifice realistic physics for speed. The speed of the fight itself was fine, but the characters seemed to fall too fast, and there was a section when the main character jumped up and landed again, and the whole thing moved at one, ridiculously fast, speed. If a character jumps, no matter how absurd the jump is, they should start off fast on the way up, lose momentum, then fall and build up momentum on the way back down. It doesn't matter how fast you do all that, but that gradient in speed has to be visable, or atleast hinted at.
The animation itself was good, and I really liked the painting style, which was nice to see, if only for the fact that I haven't seen it done before.
Good luck with the sequel.
Hmmm...
Good call on that; I might've changed the easing from "0 Neutral" to something else.
Where exactly are you referring to?
Apparently I'm quite lucky...
Everyone seems to have written that they've heard the song thousands of times before, but this was my first time hearing it, so that didn't bother me.
I have no fanboy objections to the flash because I have no opinion one way or the other on the current console war, but I do think Sony's gone abit wrong (I work at PC World, and we've sold about 2 PS3's since they were released, whereas the Wii's sell out as soon as we get them).
The animation was really smooth, and the lip-syncing, and timing of the animation, was brilliant. The song also didn't suck, which is a plus, and I found the whole thing pretty funny. Congrats.
lol gad yu likedit. Thank god ur not a fanboy! Sweet yu work at PC world, I have been meaning to get LOADS of things from PC world, but since we dont live near one my parents are like "NOOOOO ITS TOO FAR AWAAAAAYYY!" lol.
I voted to save you because of this quote:
"Sprite movies may look cheap, but they are pretty hard and time consuming to make"
Someone finally achnologing (sp?) that sprite movies take time and effort to put together is pretty important to someone like me, who mainly (with a few exceptions), animates sprites.
The movie itself was pretty good aswell, but I'm not sure what you changed from the first time around.
Good luck with the next animation.
thanx alot, im just gunna check the movie cuz i may have uploaded the wrong file.
Thanx for acknowledging my comment!
